Cippo funebre per il Gen. Parisi (foto Gian Franco Fazzì)

Alessandro Parisi, deputato fascista alla Camera delle Corporazioni, ufficiale ardito incursore nella grande guerra, generale dell’Esercito, presidente dell’Associazione Nazionale Arditi d’Italia, morì mentre attraversava il passaggio a livello dell’Abbadia nell’auto guidata dal suo chauffeur Sabatino Cestoni al limite sud del lungo rettilineo che costeggia la pineta Volpini. Una brutta sbandata, capottamento, tragedia. Il fatto avvenne il 4 agosto 1938. Con loro c’era anche una terza persona, credo il domestico del generale. Devo averne il nome da qualche parte, ma non ricordo dove né se morì anche lui  nell’incidente o si salvò. Parisi venne trasportato prima al Santa Lucia di Recanati e da lì all’ospedale di Macerata dove decedette. Sul posto della sciagura fu innalzato un cippo marmoreo, che esiste tuttora per quanto in stato di totale e vergognoso abbandono:

La misteriosa lapide al gerarca

Forse i lettori ricorderanno che qualche tempo fa, circa un mese e mezzo, pubblicammo la foto del cippo funebre eretto in zona Lido delle Nazioni in memoria di qualcuno che in quel punto restò vittima di un incidente stradale. La lapide a ricordo è andata quasi completamente distrutta dal tempo e dall’incuria e noi chiedevamo a chi fosse dedicata. Ci ha pensato Lisà Buffarini a svelarci l’arcano. Nell’incidente perse la vita il gerarca fascista Alessandro Parisi e con lui morirono il suo autista e, pare, anche un’altra persona che lo accompagnava. Resta da vedere se all’epoca furono i famigliari del Parisi oppure il comune di Porto Recanati a far costruire il piccolo monumento funebre. Nel secondo caso sarebbe opportuno che vi si mettesse mano per ripristinare la lapide scomparsa rintracciando magari i parenti di Parisi.

Ho cercato di rintracciarli questi parenti, che, per inciso, donarono un quadro alla piccola chiesa dell’ospedale di Recanati a ringraziamento del tenace e purtroppo vano tentativo dei medici di salvare la vita al gerarca. Credo che l’opera sia ancora lì. La mia ricerca non ha dato risultati. Ho pure provato a contattare il sito dell’Associazione Arditi d’Italia, ma nessuno dà risposte. Se qualcuno riuscisse a ottenere risultati migliori dei miei si potrebbe tentare il recupero del testo dell’epigrafe.
