Riflessione pre-Natalizia

“Ritrovare la strada della povertà come stile di vita per vincere la miseria frutto dell’ingordigia, sostenere la famiglia per salvare la società, e riscoprire l’arte del dialogo dal quale nasce il bene comune.”

È l’invito del card. Edoardo Menichelli, arcivescovo di Ancona e Osimo, rivolto nel pomeriggio agli uomini e alle donne delle istituzioni nel rituale incontro prenatalizio svoltosi nel Centro pastorale Stella Maris di Colleameno di Ancona.

Di fronte a un folto pubblico, composto anche da esponenti della politica, del sindacato, delle imprese e delle associazioni sociali e professionali, Menichelli è partito da una riflessione sul Natale “momento decisivo per la vita dell’umanità in cui colui che era della stirpe di Dio entra nella stirpe degli uomini, costruendo l’identità e la dignità di ogni persona”, per definire attraverso quel Bambino “un codice di comportamento e di approdo dell’esistenza”.

“Nessun regime di quelli finora conosciuti – ha affermato Menichelli – ha liberato l’umanità da scandalose sperequazioni, perché la misura del ben vivere è stata affidata alla ricchezza e alla sicurezza anziché alla povertà solidale. É necessario che dentro il nostro progresso riemerga un nuovo stile di vita e una nuova economia di famiglia, perché la famiglia, luogo privilegiato ed educativo delle relazioni, grembo che custodisce la vita e che da quella pace di cui si ha bisogno, è l’elemento di forza sul quale, al di là di ogni scelta religiosa, deve essere ristrutturata la società.”

Raccontando come secoli fa le donne abbandonassero per disperazione i propri figli allo ‘Spedale degli Innocenti’ di Firenze, dividendo in due una medaglia con la speranza di rincontrarli, Menichelli ha ricordato che per Papa Francesco l’altra metà della medaglia è oggi posseduta dai senza lavoro, dai senza casa e dai perseguitati e che “ritrovarla significa azzerare gli squilibri”.

“Credo non sfugga a nessuno – ha concluso il cardinale – la misura alta del conflitto, del giustizialismo, delle controversie che al presente si sperimentano. Abbiamo bisogno di un umanesimo che attraverso il dialogo contempli l’amore come vincolo tra le persone, affinché l’Anno della Misericordia sia un vero anno di grazia. Mi piace pensare che pace e gioia possano ritrovare casa nella nostra quotidianità e nella nostra società, diventando il sogno che ognuno di noi coltiva”.
