No alle trivellazioni sul territorio di Recanati. A confermare la netta contrarietà all’ipotesi della perforazione di un pozzo di ricerca di idrocarburi denominato “Vasari 2” presentato dalla ditta Cogeid è stato il consiglio comunale che si è riunito in seduta aperta. Nel documento, approvato in tarda nottata all’unanimità recependo i suggerimenti del comitato contro le trivellazioni (leggi l’articolo), si è deciso di “contrastare in ogni modo consentito le attività legate alla ricerca e alla coltivazione di idrocarburi nel territorio recanatese, informando e coinvolgendo contestualmente la cittadinanza,  ribadire nelle sedi appropriate e pubblicamente la propria contrarietà rispetto al progetto “Vasari 2” di Chiarino, rivendicando il proprio ruolo e l’importanza, nella pianificazione di opere di forte impatto sui territori, dell’interlocuzione con le comunità locali e di valutare ogni eventuale profilo di illegittimità degli atti relativi ai procedimenti amministrativi collegati allo stesso progetto o ad altri eventuali futuri”.

La delibera approvata in consiglio sarà inviata alla Regione Marche affinché la Giunta Regionale prenda atto di quanto approvato e si impegni formalmente a non sottoscrivere l’intesa con il ministero dello Sviluppo Economico per l’intervento di ricerca idrocarburi richiesto nel territorio di Recanati. Contestualmente una copia sarà trasmessa anche alla Presidenza della Repubblica, alla Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri, al mini
stero dello Sviluppo Economico, al ministero dell’Ambiente e della tutela del territorio. Nella delibera viene descritto l’impatto negativo che l’intervento proposto dalla ditta Cogeid avrebbe non solo sull’ambiente, ma anche sull’immagine che la città di Recanati, a forte vocazione turistica, dà del suo territorio, da sempre importante elemento di valorizzazione e tutela. Si evidenzia che “le risorse che la ditta intende sfruttare nel recanatese non apporteranno alcun beneficio concreto al territorio, nè in termini di sviluppo nè sul piano occupazionale, anzi, comporteranno un deturpamento della campagna recanatese ed uno sfruttamento delle infrastrutture stradali comunali, fermo restando tutti i possibili effetti negativi che non sembrano trovare risposte certe dallo studio allegato all’istanza di autorizzazione (dal punto di vista sismico, acustico, ecc.)”. Il documento approvato in aula ribadisce una contrarietà all’intervento trasmesso dal Comune il 3 novembre del 2014 in occasione della conferenza dei servizi indetta dal ministero dello Sviluppo Economico per il procedimento in questione e dalle note del sindaco Francesco Fiordomo inviate a settembre alla Regione, al ministero dello Sviluppo Economico ed al ministero dell’Ambiente, nella quale si conferma il parere negativo del Comune.
